Some gamers would be surprised to hear that there is still a difference
between an Eastern video game and a Western video game. When games have
become so accessible that they're truly a click away it’s a little
surprising to know that some games are thought of as regional. This is
why it's so inspiring to hear about a game that's working to break
those stigmas, and bring a game to world based on its merits and not
based on trends and markets. Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is that game. This
game features a host of Anima characters that are hardly seen outside
of Japan fighting known characters from Capcom's extensive library of
games. On the surface it looks like a Japanese only affair.
Luckily
due to a grass roots effort by American Anima fans and ambitious
members of Capcom's development team, the game has reached the states.
Will the release of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom be missed by fighting fans
because of its cultural differences? Or is this the hardcore game Wii
Fans have been begging for since the release of the console?

memorable?

When you look at the
progression of some fighting games you have to take the good with the bad. With
super smash bros brawl it looks like Nintendo spent a lot of time getting rid
of the bad. While the older smash titles where celebrations of Nintendo’s
characters the addition of Sega’s Sonic and Konini’s Snake clearly shows that
new smash titles will become a celebration of video games.
