After a successful first episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, the brother Chaps are back with Strong Badia the Free. This month's episode focuses on a dark time of political intrigue in the world of Homestar Runner. The king of town has imposed unfair email taxes on the people of the land causing upheaval. This act of tyranny causes Strong Bad to be put under house arrest and the other members of town to revolt. The effects of this new email tax and revolt causes a breakup of land, leading Strong Bad to make a bid for power. Along the way Strong Bad will try to re-unify the lands and take on the evil king of town.

Like the previous episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, is a point and click adventure. You use your mouse and cursor to control Strong Bad, converse with the towns people and work your way to world domination. Along with playing as Strong Bad in this game version of the highly popular web cartoon, you can also enjoy some added bonuses. The bonuses include directing a scene from Teen Girl Squad and playing a new game on Strong Bad's fun box console. Yet if you played the first episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People you would be expecting these mini-games. Even though the first episode contented similar bonuses these games are worth playing because they are new and worth the experience.

I found it refreshing that this new episode feels like a new game and not a continuation or remake of the last episode. It keeps all thegameplay style of the first, but adds enough new elements to keep the game from being  rehashing. If you didn't play the first episode you won't be lost with this new story. It should also be noted that if you are new to the whole Strong BadHomestarruner cartoon, you will have enough story to get you up to speed on the characters. You might not get all the jokes but you'll still get a good laugh. The story of StrongBadia the Free is a fun look at the political process through the eyes of an interesting cast of characters.

09.pngAfter playing the first episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People I was worried that the following installments of the series would falter. That was not the case. This episode continues to bring an astounding amount of content at an extremely reasonable price. I can only hope this series and the way each episode is presented becomes a standard for episodic series. There is never a moment in the game where it looks like the developers are holding back from the amount of content. Once you get past a few slow points in the story, this game is worth every penny and deserves a score of 9 out of 10.
