Over the weekend and again today, online retailers have been selling
13-month Live Gold subscriptions for $29.99. This new price is a
savings of $20.00 but there is no word yet if this is a new trend.
Retailers could be trying to just clear out their inventory but for a redeem card that has no time limit it would seem the price could always
stay the same. For years, players have been asking for the service to be
free like the PS3 but a $20 price reduction is better then nothing or
Silver access.
Currently both offers have been sold out on Walmart and Buy.com which is an exciting idea. For now it's only a sale and not the new price. It is however I'll happy to save $20 this year. Xbox Live Gold access give players the ability to create and customize an Avatar, create a Profile for yourself, keep in touch with friends via your Friends List, access to the Marketplace and access and play against others online. |
